Come try a variety of hard ciders produced right here in Southwestern Virginia. Hours of
11.30am - 9pm
Tumbling Creek Cider Company is a small cidery in southwest Virginia. We opened in 2018 and have been making traditional and traditionally-inspired ciders since.
We start with apples grown in our community and our region then we press, age, bottle and market it with pride – all here in Appalachia. Tumbling Creek's ciders are harvested from southwest Virginia apples, pressed in house and fermented on site. Our cider-making process is focused on developing cider varieties that are satisfying, with rich apple flavors.
Standing on the shoulders of giants like Foggy Ridge, we have learned from the best and now we are building our own legacy. We love to experiment, trialing traditional techniques and pioneering our own. There's nearly always a bird-brained idea or three fermenting around here.
Visit our taproom at 112 Court St, NE Abingdon, where you can sample our numerous cider varieties, including small batch and experimental ciders that aren’t available anywhere else.
If you would like to see our process, Get In Touch with us to schedule a cider barn tour or an orchard tour. We press in season, so come see us in the fall to try our apples or try your hand at the presses.
