Apple Tree Grafting Workshops

  • Kelly Ridge Farms (map)

How do you make an apple tree that stays true to the variety? You attach a piece of branch (the scion wood) from the tree you want to copy onto a specific root system (the rootstock) that controls the size of the tree. Sound like magic? It’s not—It’s GRAFTING!

Register for one of our workshops and reserve the scion wood and rootstock you want. You can choose from 3 rootstock and more than 50 apple varieties. Go home with a bareroot tree for $15 or potted tree $20. Availability is limited (first come first served) and all participants must register.

For further information and to start this process, email Tom McMullen tom@tumblingcreekcider.com. He will share the full instructions and be available for all your questions. Let’s make some heirloom apple trees together!
